Remarks
epithet spelled as lyoni. Sweet indirectly referred to his Ammyrsine lyonii (Hort. Brit. ed. 2. 344. 1830, invalid). For his L. prostratum, Loudon (Arb. Brit. 2: 1155. 1838) referred to A. lyonii Sweet and A. prostrata Sweet ex Loudon 1830 (invalid). One may treat L. lyonii as invalid (nom. nud.) or as valid and illegitimate (superfl. for L. prostratum Loudon 1838 (since Sweet & Loudon referred to A. lyonii, L. lyonii may be linked to L. prostratum)).
